New capabilities for accessibility, focus, security, work, and collaboration are part of the new Windows 11 2022 update which is now available. The update is focused on bringing new features and capabilities into the Windows 11 platform. Some of these new capabilities include system-wide live captions, additional Snap layouts, and new Focus and Do Not Disturb enhancements. Windows Studio Effects has been added for machines with the right hardware to deliver AI that helps deliver eye contact in online meetings as well as native background image controls. The update integrates Microsoft’s recent Clipchamp service into Windows 11 and expands the Android app store to more devices. Finally Microsoft Defender SmartScreen now detects when Microsoft credentials are being entered into malicious apps or websites and helps alert this is happening.
